GIS Data Analyst - Bedfordshire - £13.50-£14 - 4 Months Generic Software Consultants are currently seeking a GIS Data Analyst to be based at one of our client sites in Bedfordshire. Your role will include identification, collection and analysis of statistical information using various analytical and Web based GIS tools. You will also be required to identify and conduct statistical analysis of data sources using Excel and SPSS. Assisting in the development, implementation and management of projects aimed at improving awareness and access to knowledge will also be an important part of your role. You will be undertaking the role of website contributor, maintaining and designing my client's web pages and Intranet site. For this role you will be required to have knowledge of SPSS or equivalent and have the ability to extract, compile, analyse and present spatial data. You will need to have experience of web based mapping tools for delivery of web enabled map data. It would be also helpful for this role if you have used Access and GIS software particularly ESRI ArcView and ArcIMS.
