Cartographer - North West - £NEG - 12 Month Contract Generic Software Consultants are currently seeking an experienced Cartographer to work on site with one of our clients. We are looking for an individual who is educated to Degree level in Cartographic Design or a related or linked subject. The individual must also have 3+ years' experience of producing a variety of cartographic products, and a high level of understanding of the operation of the latest computer based design tools. You will be required to have knowledge of cartographic copyright issues and any experience of supervising other staff members would also be advantageous. Specific experience of QuarkXpress and Illustrator software would also help your application for this post. You will be required to Develop, produce and manage cartographic solutions. You will also be required to provide a professional creative and promotional operation as a service to internal clients and partners.
