The University of Greenwich at Medway Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Geographical Information Systems and Remote Sensing Ref: 00094 The post, in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Medway School of Science, has responsibility for day-to-day management of and teaching on a successful Masters programme combining GIS and Remote Sensing. There will also be teaching on related undergraduate programmes in Human and Physical Geography, Environmental Science and Geology. You will be expected to demonstrate ability to lead an academic programme, teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in classroom and field settings, contribute to the Department’s research standing and work in a team. A Ph.D in GIS, or related Geographical subject involving a combination of GIS and Remote Sensing, or an MSc in GIS combined with appropriate industrial/governmental experience will be regarded as essential. Given the importance of field activities, a valid UK driving licence is essential.
