2 GIS Applications Builders-ESRI Web technology background-Recent MSc Grads considered

Location:- North West and South Midlands

Salary:-To £20,000

These are two excellent opportunities to become actively involved in designing, building and implementing web-based GIS & digital mapping solutions based on leading edge ESRI technology, across some engaging application areas.  These include mapping environmentally sensitive habitats, historical asset management and tourism opportunities.

 

The main duties & responsibilities are to:-

▪       Develop web based mapping applications.

▪       Integrate application development with mapping software.

▪       Provide technical support to users

▪       Manage complex geodata projects where accuracy and vision are essential

 

Please apply if your skills and experience broadly comprise:-

 

▪       Some experience in Web-hosted application development using ESRI technology products.

▪       Practical experience of working with popular web tools and ideally ArcIMS.

▪       Fundamental experience and enjoyment of application programming and IT in general.

▪       Database skills using SQL Server, MS Access, ArcSDE or Oracle.

 

This is not a back-office role so candidates who prefer client interaction and plenty of time out of the office will be the best suited.
