JOB  VACANCY-  Hydrogeologist with GIS  experience 
Location  – North West Midlands 
Salary  – c£28,000  
Employment  basis – Permanent Only

What sort of  company is it? 
The client is a fast growing consultancy specialising in  the application of 
groundwater modelling, risk assessment and quantitative  hydrogeological 
techniques to solve practical soil and groundwater  problems. 
What are they  looking for? 
A full order book and healthy pipeline of business in  progress supports a 
commitment to hire an experienced hydrogeologist with first  class credentials 
in this specialist sector combined with some experience of  using GIS in the 
planning, analysis and decision support stages of  projects.  A suitable profile 
will  possess a first and/or second degree qualification in a relevant 
water-related  subject.  Practically you should  have accrued in excess of 5 years 
varied experience, ideally from working with a  multi-discipline engineering 
consultancy that has experience of winning and  managing underground water 
infrastructure projects,  
Good  client facing experience is essential. 
What  is their GIS strategy? 
GIS  and geodata play a major part in the valueadded approach they have to 
producing  robust and supportable solutions to conserve this precious commodity. 
 Experience of ESRI GIS technology is  essential including some experience of 
popular RDBMS technology and current MS  programming tools
