Retail  Planner

London and the South East Area

As part of the expansion of our service to planning authorities, developers and investors, our client a major international property consultancy requires an additional Consultant/Senior Consultant to assist with an exciting and increasing workload. 

The successful candidate will work on a wide range of retail projects ranging from town and shopping centre strategies, consumer and tenant surveys, capacity and sales forecasts and impact studies. The job will involve both developing existing products and launching new services into the town centre development and regeneration markets  in the UK.

We are seeking an individual with specialist Retail Planning experience, with the necessary IT skills and an enthusiasm for the expanding retail consultancy service provision. Key skills will include:

• Retail planning/development background
• Numeric and analytical skills
• Economics, geography, planning or GIS qualifications
• Experience with designing or analysing market surveys
• Working with spreadsheets, ideally in preparing forecasts
• Good IT skills – PowerPoint, Word, Excel
