GIS DEVELOPER IN RETAIL CONSULTANCY

The ORC Partnership is a successful retail management consultancy based in
the countryside just south of Oxford.

Most of our clients are retail property investors and our offer focuses upon
the analysis of retail supply and demand. We have developed a GIS modelling
solution called the Retail Sales and Profit Model (RSPM) with which we can
successfully evaluate the retail opportunity for a town, shopping centre,
retail park or store. We produce practical, tangible results well
understood by both the retail property investors and the retailers to whom
we report.

We are looking to recruit a developer to assist in expanding the
functionality of the RSPM and its databases. Graduates are welcome to apply.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and enthusiastic to learn
the systems and processes employed in our office. A willingness to be
flexible in the scope of the work undertaken will be required.

The candidate must have a degree ideally in GIS, Geography or Computer
Science.

Ideally you will have experience in:

- Spatial interaction modelling
- MapBasic development
- Microsoft Access development
- Knowledge of .NET, SQL and VB will be an advantage

In return we offer a competitive salary, a working week of 37.5 hours (9 to
5.30pm with an hour for lunch), 25 days annual holiday and a great working
environment.

Applicants should be UK residents and should send a CV with a handwritten
covering letter to: -
