I would be grateful for advice regarding a forthcoming installation. We are building a handling point for wheelchair users and the blind/visually impaired.

I have comissioned a carving specifically for people with VI and the blind - the piece will be 700mm heigh - as such what do you recommend would be the maximum height to install. I have been advised at no higher than 1200mm but wonder if anyone has installed higher (say up to 1300mm?) and feedback on the success or otherwise of this.

I am in a bit of a quandry because although this piece is not designed specifically for wheelchair users it is in the same area is it will obviously feature. There is a an object next to the caving that will be movable and as such I am slightly worried that people do not knock themselves on it if the carving is low.

Many thanks for all your help
