We are looking at the possibility of creating some replica plate armour
for use in one of our galleries in the Museum of Scotland. We have been
advised that we should be using stainless steel to make the replica
pieces - please can you advise me on whether stainless steel is OK or
whether there are better alternatives. The pieces will be used
extensively by visiutors probably a replica gauntlet and or leg piece

Also if you have recommendations of good suppliers or other advice
please let me know
