The Association for Suffolk Museums
Heritage Learning Officer
£20,370-£26,625         ref LH022         2 year contract
We require a creative educator to deliver two initiatives; an HLF funded project with 5 museums and a Renaissance in the Regions funded post that will develop and promote museum education more broadly across the county. You will be able to demonstrate successful project management and have recent experience of working in one or more of the following settings; schools, family learning, basic skills and museums. Experience of working with volunteers is an advantage.
The Suffolk Built and Made project's 5 museums all wish to develop new resources and strategies to support schools and family learning. Three will focus on the public understanding of science; two will focus on local studies. In addition to the half time project above, you will work with all Suffolk museums 18 hpw to support and develop learning opportunities and links to relevant learning providers.
