Glasgow Science Centre is looking for a committed, creative and motivated individual to provide day-to-day co-ordination of concurrent projects and exhibitions, ensuring completion on time, on specification and on budget.

Working within the Exhibits team you will be required to produce, maintain and revise project plans, for projects such as Rediscover, incoming exhibitions and works in progress. You will be required to liaise with project team members and contractors to maintain communication and meet overall objectives. Accurate report writing will be necessary as required by both GSC and funding bodies.

The position will also require liaising with current and potential funding organisations, and include the preparation and submission of funding applications.

Skills and personal qualities 

Proven record of delivering projects on time and within budgetary requirements.
Knowledge of exhibition design, development and construction processes desirable.
Some formal science background desirable to enable informed decisions regarding exhibit development.
Confident and diplomatic.
Ability to prioritise effectively.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
Well organised with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent analytical and communication skills desirable.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages - Outlook, Word, Excel and Project.
