Small Steps, Big Change
£20,893 - £26,763 pa Home based

This is a rare opportunity to work within a dynamic team developing an
exciting new project as part of the National Trust's 'Vision for
Learning'. The 'Small Steps, Big Change' project will find ways to
engage people in the sustainable consumer debate at National Trust
properties. It will involve people both intellectually and physically.
By provoking emotions and sharing knowledge, people will ultimately feel
empowered to take personal action towards more sustainable lifestyles.

We wish to appoint two full-time equivalent positions to deliver this
innovative and challenging new project. These will be fixed term
contracts for one year from April 2005 (likely to be extended until
2008) and applications for job sharing will be welcome. One of the
postholders will become overall manager of
the project and the starting salary will reflect this additional
responsibility.

Green Choices Learning Project Officer
This role will concentrate on the area of 'green' consumption, to
include energy, resource use, waste and water matters and transport
issues.

Food Choices Learning Project Officer
This role will specialise in the area of food, focusing on consumption,
seasonality, food chain integrity, composting food waste, local
production and sustainable land management.

For both roles we are looking for excellent team players who are well
organised, good at prioritising and able to work well under pressure.
With experience of developing and evaluating relevant learning
activities, the Project Officers will be motivated self-starters and
able to demonstrate the ability to deliver a high profile project with a
national reach.

Please find full details for these positions and apply online at
