You would need to go to the distribution companies and apply direct. The consequences if they catch you out are horrendous --even if you aren't charging. Be nice and polite and emphasise that you're a charity, have no money, arenlt charging, doing it for educationalpurposes, etc etc. Be specific about how much film you want to show.

Oroginal film footage: if it's NI, try the NIFTC archive at the folk museum. Or try the Imperial War Museum, they have an archive.

Do you know what they should do?

	Can anyone help?

We would like to show some film over the summer when we have the touring
exhibition Their Past Your Future. These would obviously be free and have
some link to the theme (and therefore an educational link!) but where do I
go to get permission? Many of them will have already been shown on the
television (ie. Goodnight Mr Tom, Battle of Britain, 633 Squadron, Great
Escape to name but a few).

I am also keen to get some original film footage from the war to show - any
	suggestions?

	Looking forward to the replies!

	Thanks
