Forced Migration Review - latest and forthcoming issues

Forced Migration Review 23 ('Europe: fortress or refuge?') has been
published. The full text of all articles is at
www.fmreview.org/mags1.htm.

Theme articles in FMR23 explore Europe's slow progress towards a
common asylum policy and challenge arguments put forward by the anti
asylum and immigration lobby.

FMR23 additionally has articles on Darfur, Iraqi refugees in Syria,
IDPs in Georgia and internal displacement in Nigeria. An interview
with Professor Walter Kälin, Representative of the UN
Secretary-General on the Human Rights of IDPs is at
www.fmreview.org/FMRpdfs/FMR23/FMR2301.pdf

Particularly topical is an article on the process which has led to
the selection of António Guterres as the new High Commissioner for
Refugees. See: www.fmreview.org/FMRpdfs/FMR23/FMR2303.pdf

FMR has also published a report on the conference 'House: loss,
refuge and belonging' held at NTNU, Trondheim, Norway in September
2004. Available at www.fmreview.org/House.pdf
