e-Tutor of the Year Competition 2005

Dear All

 *with apologies for cross posting*

The Higher Education Academy and together with the Times Higher Education Supplement have once again joined forces to celebrate innovation, good practice and achievement in the field of e-learning.

The competition was launched in 2002 in conjunction with the Times Higher Education Supplement. Learning environments are often closed and private; the competition provides the opportunity to view and learn from effective practice.

The competition is increasing in importance with the quality and number of entries increasing year on year.
A first prize of £1000 is awarded by the Times Higher Education Supplement and two runners up are awarded £250 in book tokens by the Higher Education Academy. In addition the Association for Learning Technology provide free entry to their conference in the autumn to the winners and runners-up for the presentation of the awards.

The closing date for the 2005 competition is 1 July.  Can we ask that you draw the attention of your colleagues to this competition and encourage them to enter (or indeed enter yourself.  Please visit the website http://www.heacademy.ac.uk/etutor.htm for full information and entry forms.
