Dear colleagues,

It's just one week to go until Techshare 2005, RNIB's international
technology event where professionals get together who are interested in
technology and role it plays in learning, work and society for people
with sight problems. There are just a few places left for the exciting
half-day pre-conference workshops on 16 November in Birmingham.

The workshops give delegates a chance to get to grips in more detail
with Basic or Advanced Web Accessibility, Adobe PDF Accessibility, DAISY
book creation or the revolutionary Apple VoiceOver. We are particularly
delighted to have Mike Shebanek from Apple US co-presenting the Apple
VoiceOver workshop. Don't miss this chance to have hands-on training on
this screen reader built into the operating system and get the first
in-depth look at VoiceOver in the UK since it's launch!

There are still some places left for the conference itself on 17-18
November at Jurys Inn, Birmingham. As well as a packed programme of
presentations over the two days, there are three keynote speakers and an
interactive panel session, which gives delegates the opportunity to
question representatives of leading access technology developers,
manufacturers and suppliers on the future of access technology.

Look at the full programme and book your place online before 14
November!
