Subject: Re: scanning pen

Hi

The Dyslexia Institute have details of a Reading Pen on their website, it scans text and can read out both the words and definitions. Don't know if you can scan the text into a PC with it though.

Hope this helps.

Can anyone help.  Sometime ago i remember people discussing a pen that could scan text and 'read it out'.  I have a student asking if I know of such a tool.  I thought I had kept the information - but sadly i can't find it.  Also can this pen be used to scan the text into a PC?  Anyone have the details of the name and suppliers - I would be very grateful?

Many thanks
