well with the Eurovision song contest being in Athens next year it might be an opportunity for Poland to increase their points from the home country...hey should we contact the Polish embassy?
Thanks Bryan I thought you might have one or two international students down there!

Hi Chris

I'm not aware of any funding available to Greek students from the Greek government to support disability.   (We have a lot of Greek students here).   And at the risk of sounding mercenary, or whatever. it is not uncommon for Greek students studying over here to have reasonably well off parents who can afford to pay for equipment, the provision of which is perhaps not the responsibility of the university.

Dear all

I know this will have been asked before but I can't find anything in the archives. Please be patient with me if you have already told me, but, would a student from Greece, resident here from this year for the duration of his Undergrad course (3-4 years) be in any way eligible for an allowance from his home country? He is deaf, needs some decent hearing equipment (poss £3 - 4,000 worth!) and maybe notetaking support - if he agrees to it.

Anyone got any advice please?

Thanks

Chris
