ALAN COTGROVE MEMORIAL ICT DAYS
The BDA Computer Committee(BDACC) has arranged two ICT Information Days for
2005, in memory of Alan Cotgrove, who was a much respected and very
knowledgeable dyslexic member of BDACC. A very successful day was held in
June in Kendal and the second one is at Southgate on Sat.8th October

These days are an opportunity for parents, teachers and any one who has a
care for dyslexic people to meet the providers of the software and hardware
that can play such a vital role in developing strategies to increase
independence in learning and life skills. The format will facilitate more
in-depth discussion with the providers than is possible at an exhibition.
You can find out about new products and raise queries about solutions you
already use.

There will be a talk in the middle of the day by Victoria Crivelli

Companies that will be represented are :
Carron Practicals
Clarosoftware
Crick
Don Johnston Special Needs
 iANSYST
 Lexia UK
 Maia
 RESOURCE
Special Needs Computing
Texthelp!
 White Space

Other members of BDACC will also be present to provide impartial advice.
