While at the NADO Conference my colleague and I were talking to an Adviser regarding Dyslexia Assessments. We discuss what to do about the vast number of students who arrive at the Assessment Centre on Teesside, with either an out of date Assessment or just a statement. Te Adviser commented that if the assessment was out of date hen we would only need to pt the student forward for an up date of the students percentiles, not the full Diagnostic assessment. Does anyone know if this is the case? I have checked it out within the DFES guidelines but have not found any reference. Can someone please help?
