I'd be really cautious about borrowing one and suggest you hire from any of the reputable firms:
Gordon Morris  http://www.gordonmorris.co.uk/
Connevans
And I just found 'Kelsound' who have done some work in Oxford http://www.kelsound.co.uk/conference.htm

A loop system is only as good as its installation (and even then it ain't great for some of us!)

Hope that helps

Try asking your local social services dept., hearing impaired services, or local Assoc. for the Hearing impaired. They will probably have access to or knowledge of a loop system locally which you can borrow or rent

Subject: Portable Loop System Hire

Does anyone know where we might be able to get hold of a portable loop system to hire for just 1 day for a conference?

Thanks

Helen
