I am doing some research at the moment under the title of: How far should "supporting disabled students" go? Balancing the issues of independence in a climate of retention. It is due to be completed in September, and will let the list know the outcomes! It will be interesting to see what is happening at other places and what else is going on. I am leading a workshop on the issue at the Roehampton University Learning and Teaching conference on Thursday 21st April. I.e. any evidence, apart from anecdotal from students, that what we do actually makes a difference.
