Dear all
I would like to draw colleagues attention to the resource below.
Accessible Education Matters
Adopting best practice and meeting the obligations of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995: Part IV: Post 16 Education

Produced in Association with Bond Pearce, one of the UK’s fastest-growing law firms with expert input from the National Association of Disability Officers and the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Accessible Education Matters provides specific, area by area guidance to enable staff to meet their responsibilities under the DDA and adopt best practice.

This learning resource is available on CD ROM and is ideal for all staff both Academic and Non Academic working in Post 16 Education. The multimedia content features disabled learners who provide a valuable insight into how reasonable adjustments can help them to achieve their full potential. Above all this is a practical tool for positive change. The on-screen content is supplemented with printable checklists, which include additional information. There is also an assessment quiz, which enables users to check their knowledge.
