Dear Colleagues RNIB National Centre for Tactile Diagrams are holding their third international conference on tactile diagrams, maps and pictures in Birmingham on 1-2 December 2005. This exciting international event covers all aspects of tactile graphics (images which are touched rather than looked at) for blind and partially sighted children and adults in education, work and life activities. Tactile Graphics 2005 also offers an exhibition and pre-conference workshops and will cover techniques, applications and literacy development of tactile graphics. The conference will be of interest to all those involved in the design, production, procurement, use and support of tactile graphics.
