There was an episode of Inspector Morse in which an ex-con with a First
Class degree in computer science hacked into the Police computer and
amended Morse's personnel record to make him the prime suspect in a
murder. Lewis raised the possibility that the system had been hacked
into which apparently had never occurred to anyone else in the force.
