Paradoxically the grades will be about 50-60% of similar roles with less
actual responsibility in the USA.
With the huge para legal responsibility the roles are genuinely senior
roles, and should be in the £50-60K band
From feedback I have been given this is approached and sometimes exceeded in
the private sector, but the public sector, with even greater accountability,
seems to top out at around £30,000.
