I suppose most of the James Bond films apply here - particularly "Tomorrow Never Dies" and "Live and let die".

Colleagues

I do training courses on RIPA and surveillance law (including the DPA
aspects). During my introduction I ask the audience whether they think
we live in a surveillance society. As pat of this I mention various
Hollywood movies which have had surveillance as their theme or plot.
These include:

Enemy of the State * starring Will Smith

Minority Impact * starring Tom Cruise

At the end I ask the question, is life imitating art or vice versa?

I was wondering if colleagues had any other thoughts on films where
surveillance features heavily. Perhaps the more mature/experienced
members of the list could point me to some films from the 60's and 70's
with a couple of lines on where surveillance features.

Many thanks for your help.

Regards

Ibrahim Hasan
