Always report the premium rate number to ICSTIS (online is fastest). Sandra
is usually in Florida, so you can do nothing about the incoming call. The
"Nuisance Call Bureau" is powerless and often self contradictory. But
ICSTIS can both remove the premium rate number and impose a fine (which it
has little hope of collecting). If they fear a scam they act very fast
indeed. While I am sure one of these schemes may be genuine, most use it as
a ruse to extract premium rate cash

I get these despite being TPS registered.

There was an urban myth that, if they asked you to press 9 to speak to a
person YOU then paid for the call, and at a rate of £25 per minute. After
digging deep within BT [boy did I have to dig and insist!], and after a very
brief conversation with ICSTIS I can tell you that this is not the case.

Subject: [data-protection] I win too many holidays!

I get several phone calls a week at home from a recorded message (usually
introducing herself as Sandra) telling me that I have won a holiday.

The message doesn't give any indication of who it is from and the only
contact information is a premium rate number.

Do you know what I can do about it?

Regards,
Stewart

P.S. I always opt out of direct marketing.
