Dear all, Any advice gratefully received... A proposal has been made to amend one of our application for housing forms so that instead of asking simply for details of unspent criminal convictions, we are now asking for declarations of unspent criminal convictions, pending criminal charges and past / impending civil action against the applicant(s). Information about civil proceedings may come to light when requesting references from landlords, in which case I think asking the applicant to provide it is unnecessary. Plus I am uneasy about the level of information we would be requesting and wondered if there would be some impact under ROA (a law on which I am more than a little hazy)?
