As with everything else, it all depends on the purpose.  If the bus pass is
purely to prove entitlement to travel, then it could certainly be argued
that the child's address is irrelevant or excessive.  If it's a question of
reuniting lost bus passes with the owner, this could be done via the school,
without the need for the address.  It is hard to see how the address would
prevent fraudulent use.  However, if there is some reason for having the
address, then keep it there - but beware of function creep.  A bus pass is a
bus pass, not a surrogate identity card or means of proving age.

It's all about minimising risk where it is reasonably possible to do so.
Admittedly the risk is small, but then so is the cost of redesigning next
year's bus passes so that they don't carry the address.
