HETERODOX ECONOMICS NEWSLETTER-15*

Issue-15, August 31, 2005

From the Editor

After a month’s break, the Heterodox Economics Newsletter is back. Top news items include the summer school and conference at UMKC in 2006, the seminar on heterodox microeconomics at UNAM in Mexico City, and lots of interesting books. Also of particular interest are the jobs postings. There is the one-day job market at the EAEPE 2005 Conference in Bremen, Germany, as well as two very interesting but quite different jobs for heterodox economists at Villanova and York Universities. Finally, I would like to put in a plug for the AFIT First Annual Student Scholars Award Competition which is described below. Such awards in their way help build the community of heterodox economists.
