Dear Bugs list, The WinBUGS user manual notes that "the full joint distribution of all quantities V has a simple factorisation in terms of the conditional distribution p(v | parents[v]) of each node given its parents." Is there any way of checking this factorisation? I assume it is stored in internal code that Bugs creates based on the model specification--so is it possible to look this up? How about in OpenBUGS?
