I wondered if anyone had any experience in
providing communication aids in an intensive care unit? As far as I'm aware,
there is some reticence in letting people use AAC devices because of the danger
of cross-talk.
I had a query from a lady who has been in this
situation and didn't manage to get any means of communication while in an ICU.
She is wondering if there is any provision out there.
Thanks,
Aidan.
