Dear All,

I am hoping to put together a bid for funding to undertake a cataloguing
project. Never having done this sort of thing before, I am at a loss as to
how to work out the amount of time it will take one person to catalogue the
material in question. This is obviously vital if I am to bid for
sufficient money. Is there a formula or rule of thumb people generally
work to? I know it is very much dependent on the nature and condition of
the records, but any starting point would be helpful.

Thank you.

Best wishes,

Samantha Farhall
