Dear all,

A final reminder about this year's LASR Workshop, "Quantitative Biology,
Shape Analysis, and Wavelets". As usual the workshop format is a mixture
of invited and contributed talks and posters. It has a tradition of being
informal and relaxed, and of encouraging interaction and discussion
between the participants.

Confirmed speakers at LASR-2005 include

Philip Brown (Statistics, University of Kent)
  Ian Dryden (Statistics, Nottingham)
Wally Gilks (MRC Biostatistics Unit, Cambridge)
Peter Green, FRS (Statistics, University of Bristol)
Richard Jackson (Bioinformatics, University of Leeds)
Valen Johnson (Biostatistics, University of Michigan)
David Jones (Bioinformatics, University College London)
John Kent (Statistics, University of Leeds)
Sir John Kingman, FRS (Newton Institute, University of Cambridge)
Kanti Mardia (Statistics, University of Leeds)
Andrew Neuwald (Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory)
David Westhead (Bioinformatics, University of Leeds)

More details, including the workshop schedule, are available on our
web site,

The registration fee, which includes refreshments, lunches, and a copy
of the workshop proceedings, is 195 GBP (the reduced students rate is
165 GBP), or 85 GBP for each day or part day attended.
