Dear all

Following the success of previous meetings, the theme for this year’s audit
meeting is how external pressures such as the new GP contract, the 4hr A&E
wait and various NSFs have impacted on Clinical Biochemistry and how some
laboratories, through audit and other means, have responded.

Integral to this meeting is a session for oral communications as well as
poster presentations relating to audit. These need not be on the subject of
the meeting theme. Please send an abstract of the audit (250 words maximum
in Word or RTF format attachment) to Dr. Eric Kilpatrick at
[log in to unmask] or Dr Ian Laing at [log in to unmask] . Please
include the word ‘audit’ somewhere in the email subject header to allow
filtering, and include full corresponding author details as text within the
email. All will be considered for oral or poster presentation unless
otherwise indicated.

The closing date for submission is Thursday 1st September 2005. Notification
will be by email.
