I recall the look of shocked disbelief on a Royal Mail manager's face 
when I told him several years ago that DH was going to encourage 
thousands of people to send cards smeared with human waste 
through the post

All regulations produce anomalies. For instance, one country strictly 
forbids the import and export of materials containing human DNA so 
whole blood specimens can't legally be sent in or out by any means - 
however, large amounts of DNA are transported to & fro across its 
borders by 70kg bipedal vectors in aircraft, trains, cars or just on foot
