Two questions for the collected wisdom

Is anyone aware of another method of monitoring carbon monoxide exposure
apart from blood carboxhaemaglobin measurement.

Has anyone outside the UK who is using Beckman equipment noticed a
problem with a negative bias in cholesterol values when triglycerides
are elevated in the sample
