Vacancy in Neuroimaging Research Research Associate, Department of Psychiatry, Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. This position is primarily based in the Laboratory of Biological Psychiatry, with some additional responsibilities related to activities in the Psychopharmacology Research Clinic, both in the Department of Psychiatry. The laboratory is conducting neuroimaging studies of attention, memory, and learning in schizophrenia, Alzheimer's disease, Fibromyalgia Syndrome, and neurodevelopmental disorders. We are also involved in a collaborative project with the San Francisco Brain Research Institute using EEG and fMRI to study attention and episodic memory in schizophrenia. The principal duties of the post-holder will involve the analysis and processing of neuroimaging data from multiple modalities: PET, MRI, fMRI and MRS. Applicants will also be involved with the administration of the laboratories LINUX-based computer network. This vacancy is open to applicants with a background in image processing, computing, neuroscience, and biomedical engineering, preferably at the Masters level. Applicants should preferably have experience of AFNI, SPM, Analyze AVW, EPrime, Matlab, LINUX, and C programming.
