ENCOUNTERS WITH FARMERS AND NOMADS OF THE HIMALAYAS:
Innovative steps in Participatory Action Research.
A joint project by Insight and the Macaulay Institute using Participatory Video to value and
share indigenous knowledge and ways of managing natural resources. Enabling bottom-up
communication with external agencies such as Research Institutions, Policy Makers and NGOs.
You will see excerpts of four participatory video messages filmed and directed by communities
from Ladakh (India), Pakistan and China (Eastern Tibet)
