Dear all, Was just wondering if people could possibly describe to me a typical day in the life of a biomimeticist working in a research lab. Could we pretend that this scientist is investigating/researching the dirt repellent properties of the Lotus leaf. Would the day consist mainly of sitting in front of a computer? Microscopy? Testing? I am designing a faculty of biomimetics for my architectural thesis project and would liked to get a better feel for the role of the inhabitants of the building. Would all of the tools required be confined to one lab (in ideal world) or would he/she need to go off to different departments etc. Many thanks for all your help, Regards, Gideon Purser
