Taken from Strathclyde Police retention schedules

Administration of Anti-Social Behaviour Orders and
Interim Anti-Social Behaviour Orders (ASBOs)
Current year + 3 (from
date of cancellation)

Crime & Disorder Act 1998 s19 requires CC to be consulted during application
process. ASBO is civil remedy and therefore 3-year retention stipulated.

I presume CC is Chief Constable.

Subject: Retention period - records re anti-social behaviour

Can anyone advise on the ideal retention period for the records now kept by
local authorities relating to anti-social behaviour (children and adults).
Our Crime and Disorder Unit is considering a period of 3 years. Does that
seem long enough?

Any advice will be gratefully received.
