University of London School of Advanced Study Institute of Germanic & Romance Studies SYLVIA NAISH FELLOWSHIPS Endowed by a generous bequest from the estate of Sylvia Naish, three fellowships are available in the summer term of 2005 for research into any area of German language and literature. The awards are designed to assist with temporary living expenses in London or to enable those in full-time employment to take unpaid leave to further their research. - SYLVIA NAISH RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP Endowed with £2,000, this fellowship is open to post-doctoral applicants domiciled in one of the German-speaking countries who wish to spend up to two months at the Institute. - SYLVIA NAISH POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP Endowed with £1,000, this fellowship is open to post-doctoral applicants domiciled in the UK who wish to spend up to one month at the Institute. - SYLVIA NAISH POSTGRADUATE FELLOWSHIP Endowed with £1,000, this fellowship is open to students in their second or third year of study for a higher degree who are registered at a university in the UK and who wish to spend up to one month at the Institute.
