Hi, I wanted to pick some brains.... The New Zealand Ministry of Health has
put out a tender to implement guidelines on the assessment of suicidal
patients in Emergency Departments and Acute mental Health settings. This
seems to me an opportunity to test some hypotheses about what works and what
doesn't when implementing guidelines - the way the tender is written it
could even be used to fund an RCT. I am not up to speed with the "how to
implement guidelines" literature - has anyone any suggestions about what
would be the top two hypotheses to test or could direct me to relevant
literature on "what we think works when implementing guidelines"?

If anyone is interested the guidelines can viewed at www.nzgg.org.nz

Cheers
