Can anyone help me, please? In verse 2 of the
above poem (p.795 of my 1940 Definitive Edition), RK speaks of conning "their
task in a new-sown field" (the reference is to a mine-field) "with the Moonlight
Sacrifice". (NB the capitals in those last two words). What was the
"Moonlight Sacrifice"? - 'Googling' those two words is no direct help, though it
suggests that they may be pagan in origin - it talks about 'Wicca'.
