I have understood why this popup occured. The peak finding capability can sometimes pick a Noesy peak whose center lies just above or below the viewed 1H-1H plane. Although the peak finding capability has picked this peak in this strip, the F3 dimension (15N) doesn't match that of the other peaks in this strip. This could explain why the F3 resonance does not get propagated to these type of peaks and possibly why Analysis offers the option to unalias the peak (not quite sure how this would help!). However, this popup did occur even though the 'Peak may be aliased' option was turned off in the Edit assignment window.
