CASH AND CARE: UNDERSTANDING THE EVIDENCE BASE FOR POLICY AND PRACTICE CALL FOR PAPERS *** Deadline 30 September*** Papers are invited for this conference, which is being will be held at the University of York on 12-13 April 2005. The conference will have four main streams: . Money, risk and budgeting on a low income . Informal care . Chronic illness and disability across the life-course . Working across agency and professional boundaries. Offers of papers on any of these four themes would be welcome. Keynote speakers include: Saul Becker, Caroline Glendinning, Hilary Land, Jane Lewis, Eithne McLaughlin, Jane Millar, Jan Pahl, Tricia Sloper and Linda Ward. The conference is co-sponsored by the Department of Health and the ESRC. Thanks to ESRC sponsorship, we are able to offer free places to PhD full-time students from the UK.
