Thirty-Second Annual
Sewanee Medieval Colloquium

April 8-9, 2005


Lecturers:
Barbara Hanawalt, Ohio State University:
"Portraits of Outlaws, Felons, and Rebels in Late Medieval England"

Andy Orchard, University of Toronto:
"A Richness of Wretches:  Exiles in Anglo-Saxon Literature"

(Titles Provisional)

The program will include 20-minute papers from any discipline; papers may
be related to the theme in any way. Those interested in participating in
the Colloquium should submit two copies of an abstract (approximately 250
words) and two copies of a brief curriculum vitae to the address below by
October 1, 2004. Electronic submissions welcome. Papers accepted for the
Colloquium must be submitted in their final form, including notes, by March
5, 2005, in order to reach their commentators in good time.


A prize will be awarded for the best paper presented by a graduate student
or recent Ph.D.
