*** APOLOGIES FOR CROSS POSTING *** ** ** EPUNet Short Research Visits (Berlin, Colchester, Dublin, Luxembourg) ** ** (reminder: deadline for application for visits ** between Dec.2004 and Feb.2005 is Sept. 30) ** EPUNet is pleased to announce the first call for proposals for Short Research Visits. EPUNet Research Visits offer the opportunity to access the European Community Household Panel survey data at one of four ECHP National Data Collection Units in order to work on a short research project and thereby assess the relevance of the ECHP database for further research. The units are: - CEPS/INSTEAD: the Centre for the Study of Populations, Poverty and Socio-Economic Policy (Differdange, G.-D. Luxembourg); - DIW: the German Institute for Economic Research (Berlin, Germany); - ESRI: the Economic and Social Research Institute (Dublin, Ireland; - ISER: the Institute for Social and Economic Research (University of Essex, Colchester, UK) The duration of a visit is normally about three weeks. Grants cover travel and subsistence costs. Deadline for application is September 30, 2004 for visits to be scheduled any time between December 1, 2004 and February 28, 2005.
