CHORD (the Centre for the History
of Retailing and distribution) invites all interested researchers to a workshop
devoted to the discussion of the relationship between migration and
commercial
entrepreneurship.
Proposals are invited for papers exploring any aspect of this
topic, and focusing on any geographical area or historical period. For more

by 28 January 2005. Fee: £ 8. The fee may be waived for
